We've all heard the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover." But really, how many times have you been drawn to a book because of it's cover. Besides, we all initially judge a book by it's cover art and tagline, and now it's time to celebrate the it! Cover Love is hosted every Monday, feel free to add a link to your cover reviews (love 'em, hate 'em, or debut 'em) to Mr. Linky below.
An Abundance of Books' Cover Love feature was inspired by 21 Pages' "Cover Love" and Book Chick City's "Cover Crush" features and I encourage you to check them out.

While the Iron Fey covers aren't my favorite covers of all time, they do look good and they all "match" I was pretty curious about the Iron Knight cover since it wouldn't have Meghan on the cover.

Ash looks pretty good. His hair isn't "unruly" so much and his eyes are blue instead of silver (or the gray that I was expecting) but he looks good. The twirly vine things look now have snowflakes mixed in, showing that this is a book about the Winter prince and not the Summer princess. I was also very excited when I heard that Puck would be on the back. Puck's my favorite.

OH GOD, WHAT HAPPENED TO PUCK? Seriously, what happened? Ash is handsome and Puck is apparently going into anaphylactic shock. I'm disappointed that they mucked around with him when they left Ash alone. If he gets his own book I hope he looks less swollen on the cover.
Cover disappointment aside, this was a great read and Puck and Ash were fantastic!

I still don't quite know how I feel about The Iron Knight cover, but I adore the first three :)
October 17, 2011 at 5:29 PMHahahaha Jen, you are cracking me up with your observations on the covers. Poor puffy Puck!
October 18, 2011 at 10:09 PMI was hoping for an Ash with longer hair and silver eyes, but like you, I really love how all the covers match. :)
@ YA Book Queen - I was hoping for something more, but I'm not sure what. Maybe "swoon worthy".
October 19, 2011 at 9:02 AM@ Missie - I was also expecting a long haired, silver eyed hottie, but I can work with this. :)
Ash looks sooooooo hot.
