Goodreads Summary:
Now comes the story of an alpha wolf named Hawke used to getting exactly what he wants--and of the only woman who dares tangle with him.

Since the moment of her defection from the PsyNet and into the SnowDancer wolf pack, Sienna Lauren has had one weakness. Hawke. Alpha and dangerous, he compels her to madness.

Hawke is used to walking alone, having lost the woman who would've been his mate long ago. But Sienna fascinates the primal heart of him, even as he tells himself she is far too young to handle the wild fury of the wolf.

Then Sienna changes the rules and suddenly, there is no more distance, only the most intimate of battles between two people who were never meant to meet. Yet as they strip away each other's secrets in a storm of raw emotion, they must also ready themselves for a far more vicious fight…

A deadly enemy is out to destroy SnowDancer, striking at everything they hold dear, but it is Sienna's darkest secret that may yet savage the pack that is her home…and the alpha who is its heartbeat…

Review:
I'm going to keep this review short in order to stay SPOILER FREE.
I'm not as big a fan of the Psy-Changeling series as I am of Singh's Guild Hunter series.  I've read some of the books but not all of them.  That being said, even I was excited to finally get Hawke and Sienna's story.

I was a bit worried about how Singh would handle the story.  The biggest stumbling block being how young Sienna is, not quite 20.  So how do you have a great romance with steamy scenes and not be skeevy?  You do it the way Singh did, which was wonderfully.

While both characters struggled with their desires and their pride (and barely contained dangerous powers in Sienna's case), they never did that ridiculous waffling that you see in so many romances.  It never seemed like they took a step back but more like they were trying to come to terms with what was happening despite their intentions.  (Though there were times I wanted to smack Hawke upside the head for being so obtuse.)  While Hawke and Sienna struggled, argued, stormed off, or slammed doors, they never closed the lines of communication.  Despite massive frustration they always managed to talk to each other.  It might take some time for the message to sink in (I'm looking' at you Hawke) but they listened to the other.  Sienna never came across as needy or childish - she's grown into a strong woman.  Hawke never seemed ridiculously overbearing, but snarling did seem to be something of a defense mechanism when he was confused about his feelings.

There was action, romance, fun characters, and a really sweet side plot that I just loved.  I'd also like to point out that I thought I "knew" how Kiss of Snow was going to end,  but I was wrong!  Yes, there is an HEA, but I was wrong about how Hawke and Sienna got there without the instant death.
You can read an excerpt from Chapter 1 HERE.

Verdict:
Kiss of Snow handled the age difference , dangerous powers, and all the other obstacles very well.  There was danger, excitement, romance, and passion - I don't think that the Hawke and Sienna fans will be disappointed.

YES!!! That was one of my favorite aspects of the story. Everything was always out there on the table and they never hid anything from one another even though Hawke was rather epic in his denial:) So glad you loved this one too!

I agree with your review, and I loved the book myself. Think about reading the ones you have missed, they are all worth reading. And it gives you a better insight in the ongoing plotline and possible relationship.
I just love that little one, Ben.

I have been curious about this author since I've seen her mentioned on quite a few book blogs. Maybe I'll try out this or the Guild series soon. Hawke does sound intriguing. Great review.

@ Jenny - It's so refreshing when the hero & heroine don't pout and run off to the country or something after a fight.

@ Aurian - Every time I read one of these, I buy another one. :) Slowly but surely I'm catching up on the series.

@ Jade - I vote you try the Guild series ('cause it's my favorite) but either way I would recommend reading either series in order.

@ Jade - I really enjoy Singh's books, but I would recommend trying her books from the library first. Reviewers seem to really like or be bitterly disappointed by her books - library's are always a safe bet.
